IT OPERATIONS · INFRASTRUCTURE · AI AGENTS

Systems that run themselves.

I help leaders turn tangled IT operations, ageing infrastructure and manual busywork into automated systems that are measurable, resilient, and genuinely understood by the people who run them.

WHAT I DO

Three disciplines. One working whole.

Most problems labelled “IT” are really a seam between operations, infrastructure and automation. I work across all three, so the seam stops being where things break.

01

IT Operations & Service Delivery

ITSM, SLAs, incident and problem management, prioritisation, risk and clear ownership. When daily service becomes predictable, your team can build instead of firefight.

02

Cloud & Infrastructure

Virtualisation, networking, storage, backup, monitoring, Microsoft and Linux estates, cloud and security. Architecture judged by operation, recovery and cost — not by the diagram.

AI Agents & Automation

Agents that gather context, analyse signals, draft options and execute safely bounded actions. We start from one real process, keep humans in control, and measure the result.

  • Human-in-the-loop
  • Guardrails

HOW I WORK

No presentation fog. Proof that it runs.

Technology is worth exactly as much as it makes a decision, a job or a responsibility easier.

A

Map the system

Business goal, services, teams, risks and the real constraints — without assumptions.

B

Design the path

Priorities, ownership, architecture, automation, and a way back if something goes wrong.

C

Prove it works

A solution earns trust only once it is tested in the real environment and can be operated.

D

Hand over control

Documentation, runbooks and the knowledge your team needs to own it after I leave.

WHEN TO CALL

Not every problem needs another tool.

01

Incidents repeat, but the causes stay vague.

First we separate symptoms, signals, the decision path and the real owner of the service.

02

SLAs, service quality and business expectations have drifted apart.

We clarify what is genuinely measured, where accountability disappears, and which decision has to be made.

03

Infrastructure or cloud needs direction, not another purchase.

We weigh operation, resilience, recovery, security and cost logic as a single decision.

04

You want AI agents as real practice, not a demo.

We begin with one concrete workflow, human oversight, safe boundaries and a clear outcome.

ABOUT

Between the business need and the technical reality.

For more than twelve years I have worked in the space where business expectation meets technical constraint — from hands-on enterprise infrastructure in banking, retail and manufacturing environments, to leading end-to-end IT service delivery for enterprise customers across organisations with hundreds of technical specialists.

I see AI not as a demonstration, but as a new way to notice, decide and get work done faster — provided it is embedded in a real process, with real boundaries and a human who stays accountable.

LET’S TALK

Start with your situation, not a tool.

If you want clearer control of IT services, stronger infrastructure, or a meaningful place for AI agents in a business process — the first step is a short conversation about context.
