Who handles your data

This site and any correspondence through it are handled by an independent IT and AI consultant based in Lithuania. For any question about your data, email info@norv.lt — requests are answered within 30 days, as the GDPR requires.

What is collected

There is no contact form, no comments, no registration, no newsletter and no analytics. Simply reading these pages discloses no personal data.

Data arises in only two situations:

• Your message — if you write by email or on LinkedIn, I receive your name, your contact address and whatever you chose to write. Nothing further is requested.
• Server logs — every web server records requests: IP address, timestamp, URL and browser type. They exist for security and fault diagnosis, are linked to no profile, and are removed automatically.

Why, and on what legal basis

Correspondence is processed to answer your enquiry and, if we go on to work together, to perform the engagement — the legal basis is a contract or steps taken prior to entering one (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).

Server logs are processed under legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — keeping the site running and protected from abuse. That interest extends to neither marketing nor profiling.

How long it is kept

Correspondence that does not lead to an engagement is kept for no more than 12 months and then deleted. Project-related correspondence is kept for as long as contractual and accounting obligations require.

Server logs are short-lived — a few weeks — and are overwritten automatically.

Who it is shared with

Nobody, for advertising or analytics purposes. Data is not sold and is not passed to third parties for marketing.

Unavoidably, the hosting provider (servers within the European Union) and the email provider process data technically. They act as processors and only to the extent needed to provide the service. No data is transferred outside the EU.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, an email to info@norv.lt is enough. If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or to the supervisory authority in your own country.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies at all — neither analytics nor advertising. This is covered in detail in the cookie policy.

Changes to this policy

If a feature that processes personal data is ever added, this policy will be updated before it goes live.
