What cookies norv.lt uses, and why the list is so short.

In short

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
No data goes to third parties — no Google Analytics, no social pixels, no embedded video.
You can browse without consenting to anything, because there is nothing to consent to.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site recognise your browser on a later visit — remembering a language choice, for example, or that you are signed in.

They fall into two groups: strictly necessary cookies, without which a site cannot function, and non-essential ones used for analytics and advertising. Under the GDPR and the EU ePrivacy rules, non-essential cookies require your prior consent.

What this site actually stores

This site uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie ever written appears when you dismiss the cookie notice yourself — it does nothing but remember that the notice has been seen.

In total there are only these two cookies:

norv_cookies — written only when you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice. It lasts 12 months and holds a single value recording that the notice has been seen. Until you choose, nothing is stored.
WordPress login cookies — set only when the site administrator signs in to the admin panel. They are never set for visitors.

Third-party services

The site loads nothing from other domains. Fonts, styles, images and scripts are all served from the same server, so your IP address is not disclosed to any third party simply because you opened a page.

There is no Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, YouTube or Vimeo embed, chat widget or advertising network.

Server logs

Like any web server, this one records technical request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL and browser type. These are not cookies and are not used for profiling; they exist for security and fault diagnosis, are kept for a limited period and are then removed automatically.

Managing cookies

You can always inspect, block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”. Because this site sets none, blocking them changes nothing about how it works.

If a consent notice ever does appear, you will be able to change your choice at any time through a link in the footer.

Changes to this policy

If a feature requiring cookies is added, this policy will be updated before that feature goes live, and consent will be requested for anything non-essential.

Does norv.lt track me?

No. The site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and sends no data to third parties. Your visit is not linked to any profile.

Why is there no “Reject” button?

Because there is nothing to reject: the site uses no non-essential cookies, so the notice only informs you. If analytics were ever added it would become a real consent request, with “Accept” and “Reject” carrying equal weight.

Are cookies used if I get in touch?

No. Contact is by email or LinkedIn — the contact page carries no form that would set cookies.
